It can get interesting...

Born a poor boy to a Minnesota farmer in the middle of a raging May snowstorm, Rob overcame the blight of thick cream milk, heavily greased bacon and corn-porn pancakes to eventually venture out into the world. As a boy of 12, he signed on with a tramp steamer, witnessed a murder, found sin after losing his innocence and eventually ended up living among the Natives of West Africa by the time he was 16.

Rob's young adult years found him wandering the North American continent experimenting the counterculture of the drug induced, the homeless, the downtrodden and the poor until meeting the woman who would change his life, turning Rob into a modern icon of a hardworking man and supporter of his many children.

And I didn't even mention my run in with a couple of aliens in the middle of a hot, deserted, desert highway at 3 in the morning when the moon was bright, pregnant and ready for birth.

But getting back to the story...

Everything else aside, just about everything you read and see stems from my warped mind. Yep, I'm a one man, mad machine churning out crazy youtubes, blog posts, memes, short fiction and whatever else comes this way.

In real life, I'm a janitor, go figure.

Like you, I'm a complex, thoughtful person and I'm growing in my ideas and beliefs.

OK, that all sounds nice, now go look around.

One thing you can always be sure of, you're not going to find anything like this elsewhere.

Strange, this work is over 25 years old, and looking back on it, I get why it never sold. But damn, I'm proud of it. Check out a sample, here.

Short Fiction

With all the pieces laying around,

why is life so redundant?

GO!

God speaks to all, many hear, one acts.

Inconsequential

What you believe

What you think

What you know

Unless you’ve happened

Along some great truth

You’d care to share

I’ll share

Chances are

you’re wrong

Never listened

Never learned

All you got

Is what you’ve

been told.

Parents, Friends

Relatives, Politicians

God

All profound truths

That pale in comparison

to thought, to knowledge

to action, to compassion

to Experience.

Truth from someone

who has never ventured

from their safety

from their warmth

from their family

yet in their world

They know the world

as it is.

Their truth.

There exists in every person the potential to do great harm and most people find that potential because it’s easier to find and execute than to find the potential to do good.

Keep the people fed with bread and they’ll catch you stealing them blind. Put a steak on their table, and they won’t care.

Social Commentary is an act of subterfuge that will destroy our civilization, but it just also happens to be a good thing.
